Sculptor. Filmmaker. Painter. Visionary.
At Marcolina’s Fine Arts Gallery, we’re proud to feature the work of Blake Emory — a creative force changing the way we experience art.
From surreal public sculpture to experimental film, Blake’s work is where imagination and mastery collide.
Babe Ruth, Reimagined
“Babe Calls the Shot” is Blake’s newest public monument: a life-size bronze sculpture of Babe Ruth, now installed at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
This powerful piece has quickly become one of St. Pete’s most photographed landmarks, reminding us of the enduring connection between sports, culture, and art.
Surrealism in the Everyday
Blake recently restored a Dalí-inspired bench at the Dalí Museum in downtown St. Pete — a striking reminder of art’s ability to surprise and delight in the most unexpected places.
From Canvas to Cinema
Blake’s creativity doesn’t stop at sculpture. At the Juneteenth Film Festival, he debuted The Ethereal – Episode 1, an experimental sci-fi short exploring multiverse theory and Black identity.
Featuring actor Guillo Perez III, the film was a visual knockout — and Episode 2 is already in production.
His Roots: The Iconic Zebra Love Series
Blake’s signature style — a hypnotic mix of motion, geometry, and figure — began with his Zebra Love paintings, first exhibited at Art Basel Miami 2015.
Today, his work spans from Santa Fe to New York, and now finds a home at Marcolina’s Fine Arts Gallery in Tampa.
