Solar Drift — Guillo Perez III

Original • Oil on Stretched Canvas • Stretched & unframed

Solar Drift by Guillo Pérez III emerges as one of the most radiant expressions within his acclaimed Nebula Collection. This acrylic-on-canvas work bursts with cosmic energy — vibrant yellows, molten embers, and cool verdant tones swirling in motion like a star caught mid-formation. The composition feels alive, capturing the essence of cosmic abstraction that defines Guillo’s evolving style.

In this piece, Pérez turns the universe into emotion: luminous passages suggest the pull of gravity, sweeping gestures echo expansion, and grounded tones offer warmth and human connection. Every stroke carries tension and release, inviting viewers to step into a moment suspended between chaos and clarity.

About the Artist — Guillo Pérez III

Guillo Pérez III is a Dominican–American painter whose work merges the strength of his Caribbean heritage with the edge of his New York upbringing. As the grandson of the celebrated master Guillo Pérez, he carries a powerful artistic lineage, yet his voice is unmistakably his own.

Working from Tampa, Guillo developed his signature philosophy, Bauhaus Budō, blending Bauhaus structure with the discipline of martial arts. His paintings pulse with geometry, myth, color, and movement.

His work has been exhibited across the U.S. and the Caribbean, and he has helped build creative communities in Miami, New York, and Tampa. The New York Times recognized him as a “Star Maker.”
