Collection: Gina Novendstern

Gina Novendstern is an internationally recognized sculptor known for her exploration of the interplay between interior and exterior environments through the human form. Born in the United States and based in New York City, she spent three transformative years in Mexico in the 1980s, assisting a Mexican artist and developing her own visual expression. Novendstern frequently returns to Mexico to live and work, and she has taught sculpture techniques in both the New York area and Mexico.

Her notable exhibitions include a 2008 solo show at the MACAY Museum of Contemporary Art in Merida, Mexico, titled "Interior Visions-Exterior Reflections," and a 2010 international exhibit at the National Gallery of Fine Art in the Dominican Republic, where she represented the United States. Currently, she is completing a series of figures within wood and metal structures and working on several public art proposals. Novendstern’s sculptures are featured in museums, galleries, and collections worldwide, reflecting her significant impact on contemporary sculpture. Her work continues to captivate audiences by delving into the complex relationships between space, form, and human experience.
