Why Collect With Marcolina's
Everything a serious collector
expects. And a few things they don't.
Curated Selection

Every work in the collection is there because it belongs. Not because it fills a wall. Marcolina curates with the seriousness of a collector herself.

Payment Plans

Original art at serious prices should not require a single lump sum. Payment plans are available on all original works. Ask Marcolina about the options for any specific piece.

Ships Worldwide

Every work ships worldwide with full insurance and professional art packaging. Collectors in New York, Los Angeles, London, and beyond have acquired through Marcolina's without visiting in person.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every original work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist, full provenance documentation, and care instructions. No exceptions.

Private Consultations

Marcolina works with collectors personally — in your home, in your office, or on a dedicated video call. The consultation is about finding the right work, not making a sale.

Artist Access

Collectors who acquire through Marcolina's join a community with ongoing access to the artists, their process, and future work. Guillo Pérez 3's participation is reserved and meaningful.

Do I need to visit Tampa to acquire a work?
No. Many collectors acquire through virtual viewings. Marcolina presents the work on a dedicated video call, answers questions in real time, and the shipping and documentation process is handled entirely by the gallery. Collectors in New York, Texas, California, and internationally have acquired without visiting Tampa.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. Payment plans are available on all original works. The terms depend on the work and your situation. Contact Marcolina directly to discuss the options for any specific piece. There is no standard formula — the goal is to make acquisition possible.
How does shipping work?
Every work ships in professional art packaging with full insurance for its declared value. Domestic US shipments are quoted based on the size and destination. International shipments are quoted individually. Marcolina coordinates the full shipping process and keeps you informed throughout.
How do I know the work is authentic?
Every original work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist, full provenance documentation, and the gallery's own record of the acquisition. Marcolina's has represented Guillo Pérez 3 since the gallery's founding in 2021 and maintains complete documentation on every work sold.
Can I commission a work?
Yes. Original paintings can be commissioned to your specifications — scale, medium, and subject. The process begins with a conversation about what you are imagining and what the painting needs to do. Pricing is by inquiry and depends on the artist, medium, and complexity. A 50% deposit confirms the commission.
Is this a good investment?
We answer this honestly: original art is not a liquid investment. It does not belong in the same category as stocks or real estate. What it is: a historically durable store of value for works by artists with serious market history, an object that holds personal and cultural significance that financial instruments cannot carry, and in the case of artists at Guillo Pérez 3's stage, a window that is still open. Marcolina will always tell you what she genuinely believes about a work's market trajectory.
New to Collecting
Your first acquisition
is the most important one.

The collectors who build the most meaningful collections almost always started the same way: they found a work that would not leave them alone. They kept thinking about it after they left the room. They came back to look again. Eventually they decided that living with it was worth more than the money it cost.

Marcolina works with first-time collectors with the same attention she brings to established ones. There is no minimum. There is no pressure. The first conversation is always about what you are looking for, not what we are trying to sell.

Starting points for new collectors
Buy what you cannot stop thinking about
The single most reliable indicator that a work belongs in your life is that you keep returning to it. Not every impressive painting is the right painting for you.
Understand the artist before you buy the work
A painting is a window into a specific person's interior world. The more you understand that world, the more the work will reward you over time.
Ask for a private viewing before you commit
A work seen on a screen is different from a work seen in person or presented directly. Marcolina offers private viewings for every work in the collection.
