What a Commission Is
One painting.
Made for you.
Belongs nowhere else.

A commission is not a print. It is not an adaptation. It is an original painting created from the beginning with your space, your brief, and your vision as the starting point.

You tell us your budget, the scale, the mood, and what the painting needs to do in your space. We connect you with the artist whose work best matches what you have in mind. From there, it is a conversation between you, the artist, and the wall.

Some clients come to us knowing exactly what they want. Others come with a feeling and let the artist interpret it. Both approaches produce extraordinary results.

The Commission Process
1
Tell us what you are imagining
Share your vision, your space, and your budget. There is no wrong answer at this stage. We are listening for what the painting needs to do, not just what it needs to look like.
2
We match you with the right artist
We recommend the artist best suited to your brief from our represented roster. You are welcome to choose based on style. We are happy to guide if you prefer to let us lead.
3
50% deposit to begin
Once the brief is agreed, a 50% deposit confirms the commission and the artist begins work. Timeline is a minimum of two weeks, with larger and more complex pieces taking longer.
4
Review and completion
We share progress with you along the way. When the painting is complete and approved, the remaining 50% is due before delivery.
5
Delivery and documentation
The completed painting is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist, full provenance documentation, and care instructions. Shipping worldwide with full insurance.
Medium
Oil, acrylic, or mixed media

We work across oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, and mixed media. The medium is determined by what the work calls for and which artist is best suited to your brief.

Pricing
By inquiry, based on scope

Commission pricing depends on the artist, medium, scale, and complexity. We do not publish flat rates because every commission is different. Tell us your budget and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Timeline
Two weeks minimum

Smaller works can be completed in as little as two weeks. Larger and more complex commissions take longer. We give you a realistic timeline at the start of the process and keep you informed throughout.

Every commission starts
with a conversation.

Tell us what you are imagining. Tell us your budget. Tell us what the painting needs to do. We will take it from there and give you an honest answer about what is possible.
