Original oil painting by Guillo Pérez 3 · Dominican-American expressionist · Available at Marcolina's Fine Arts Gallery, Tampa, Florida · Ships worldwide
Horizon II captures that in-between moment when the sky cannot decide if it is waking up or winding down. Bright layers of pink, orange, yellow, and deep blue form an abstract line between sky and water, equally a sunrise and a sunset depending on the day you bring to it.
The blue carries the weight of the water itself, grounding the warmer tones above it and keeping the composition read as a genuine seascape rather than pure abstraction. At a smaller, more intimate scale, Horizon II suits a space that wants that color and mood without asking for a large wall to hold it.

About the Artist
Guillo Pérez 3 is a Dominican-American painter whose work merges the strength of his Caribbean heritage with the edge of his New York upbringing. As the grandson of celebrated master Guillo Pérez, he carries a powerful artistic lineage, yet his voice is unmistakably his own.
Working between New York and Tampa, Guillo developed his signature philosophy, Bauhaus Budō, blending Bauhaus structure with the discipline of martial arts. His paintings pulse with geometry, myth, color, and movement.
His work has been exhibited across the U.S. and the Caribbean, shown at Art Basel Miami Beach, and is held in private collections in over 48 countries as well as the Skylands Museum of Art. The New York Times recognized him as a "Star Maker."
