Original oil painting by Guillo Pérez 3 · Dominican-American expressionist · Available at Marcolina's Fine Arts Gallery, Tampa, Florida · Ships worldwide
Horizon III returns to that same unresolved line between sky and water, rendered in pink, orange, yellow, and deep blue. The painting reads as its own version of the question, sunrise or sunset, without ever fully answering it, letting the color do the work rather than a fixed narrative.
The blue tones root the piece as a real seascape, the water holding steady beneath a sky caught mid-change. At an intimate scale, it works well as a focused, color-driven statement piece rather than a large-format anchor.

About the Artist
Guillo Pérez 3 is a Dominican-American painter whose work merges the strength of his Caribbean heritage with the edge of his New York upbringing. As the grandson of celebrated master Guillo Pérez, he carries a powerful artistic lineage, yet his voice is unmistakably his own.
Working between New York and Tampa, Guillo developed his signature philosophy, Bauhaus Budō, blending Bauhaus structure with the discipline of martial arts. His paintings pulse with geometry, myth, color, and movement.
His work has been exhibited across the U.S. and the Caribbean, shown at Art Basel Miami Beach, and is held in private collections in over 48 countries as well as the Skylands Museum of Art. The New York Times recognized him as a "Star Maker."
